Just for fun, I have decided to institute a new feature to PIP.

    Housing in Rome.

Things like insulae and land in the provinces are income producing. Just for a way to be conspicuously consuming with your wealth, players can now purchase homes in Rome.

These homes are definitely for the rich though, because, like any house, they cost to buy, and cost to maintain.

Essentially this will make the Rome posts a little more interesting, as now we will know where each other live in the city. :) We will be working off this map, which will be expanded to include more urban territory if possible:

    Prices for housing:
    (cost/maintenance)

Capitoline Large House: 2,000,000 Dn / 25,000 Dn
Capitoline Regular House: 1,575,000 Dn / 20,000 Dn

    Palatine Large: 3,500,000 Dn / 45,000
    Palatine Regular: 2,575,000 Dn / 37,500

    Forum Outskirts Large: 2,500,000 Dn / 38,000
    Small: 2,250,000 Dn / 35,000

Insula Residence anywhere in city: NA / 6000 Dn
NB- This is just for a 'fixed address' somewhere in Rome. Any player can live in the city without buying a property. This whole thing is just for fun!!

As you can see from the map, space is limited! I anticipate that some of these places will be filled up eventually, and therefore prices will go up when players try to sell and buy from one another!!! So buy them while they are low! :) I will expand the map and get some more affordable address in there at some point. For now this is what we got!

Loophole: If you find historical evidence for your character's residence, it will be granted to you free of charge!

Stay tuned for more neighborhoods to come!!

Loophole 2: To get the whole thing started, the first 5 applicants to the GM for a residence will get DRASTIC discounts on properties. :) (Think like pay maintenance and its yours.) Because I know most players dont have large cash reserves just yet in the game.
