I have just signed to be a member of the group "The War College of Sun Tzu" and I have read your suggestions( Not only yours also others' suggestions). I have some suggestions but I could not write them on the board because of my position, so these are my suggestions; 1_)I understood that the aim of the group is to discuss philosophy, strategy, and tactics of military history in The Orient. So as you suggested before why we are struggling on only Sun Tzu. I know he is a great commander and I read the book 'Art of War' or 'War Art'. But there are also lots of great commanders and great philosophers in the Orient(According to me we should not interest philosophy, strategy and tactics of military history only in Orient, we should interest and pay attention to all of the great commanders and strategists in history, but I know that it is an Orient group.)Shortly we should enlarge the commanders, strategists and philosophers that we will talk about. There are lots of such persons in the Orient. 2_)We should decide the dates,time and the place (where you like) of our discussions. Then we should announce the topics we will discuss to make everyone prepared to the topics. 3_)To make everyone prepared we can do such things; a_)We can announce the authors and names of books related to our topics. (Sankira Qin said that he had prepared a library but I think it is not enough.) b_)We can give the web addresses related to the topics. c_)Lastly, as you know we are living in different countries and all the books are can not be bought or barrowed easily in all countries. To solve this problem we can translate the important parts of those books into English and send to the group. I wrote those massages, because I have really a great history and philosophy addiction. I liked this group and I want to transform this group into an active learning and discussion group. As I learned from my readings that if we increase our knowledge about old experiences of great commanders or graet leaders as well as their philosophies, their thinking styles and if we integrate this backlog into our lives we are going to be more successfull in our daily lives. As you know great commanders and leaders were good readers and good(according to me best) philosophers.
If you agree, I will do whatever I can according to my Jiedushi's orders and help.
