I was reading Eirikr's posts here: it's great to see that we are at least two people here interested in learning German, and hopefully, other members will manifest themselves on those threads soon (I'm also hoping to get one of my friends to sign up soon ;-) )

To reprise Eirikr's post on German vocabulary, if you all people are interested in building our own thematic vocabulary lists, I'd be more than happy to either join forces with others here or build a basic one on my own. Also, could we maybe start on few lessons for both beginner and advance German? Again, I'd be most interested in helping out beginners; I'm afraid I'm not good enough to teach advanced German though, but could provide for material and exercises covering advanced grammar
