Egyptian Senet
This is a model of the game Senet. Just started this about an hour ago. Still have a bit more to go. Though the actual rules of the game are unknown, there are a few guesses at the rules which make the game playable if not historical. In addition to this board, I plan on doing a stone board with circlular spaces. I saw a picture of one at an online museum and thought it was cool. If I can find some quality pics of the Tut senet table, I will enventually model it as well.
The joinery of the drawer does not show in this untextured render. Of course, I didn't bother to include all of the playing pieces. There are two drawers, one at each end, to store the pieces and the sticks.
