Here's what's happening:

Everyone except me has been demoted to Head Count. Why have I not been demoted? I think that should be obvious. It's my group, for better or worse.

This demotion is TEMPORARY. Once we determine our course of action, be it restart in a different time period, restart where we left off, etc, everyone will be required to post updated biographies and contact information.

Until the game restarts, all threads except for Announcements (for me), Comments (for Roll Call) and Suggestions (for everyone) are to be considered locked.

Everyone still around needs to post in the Comments thread with a quick hullo so I can get a rough estimate of players available.

From the time of restart, all those in the head count position will be allowed a two month courtesy period to get their affairs in order, post a bio, contact info, and get back in the game. Those who have not done so after the two month grace period will be retired from the group.

Small changes are also being made to the rules to streamline them. Over the last two years they've grown a lot more than expected, and have become somewhat unwieldy in the like of Imperium. This is being fixed.

If you don't like any decisions I make, feel free to leave. Doesn't cost me a penny. I am the Magister In Chief, Copyright holder and owner of the Rules, and reserve the right to make changes to said rules whenever needed for the good of the game.

This is not to say that I will not take input. If you have constructive criticism to put forth, by all means do - I even have a thread for it (called Suggestions). I'll take all opinions into account.

I'm not really a mean guy, but I can be, and will not hesitate to be. If you post hateful comments towards me or any other member of this group, I will take it up with the sitewide administration. And trust me - I know what they can do.
