The race for the river rental ferries is on! After the Processional Gods (Amun, Mut and Khonsu) are done visiting and honoring the Pharaoh's funerary temple, they then go on to visit the individual family tombs where family members set up shrines, flowers and offerings to honor their ancestors and the gods. But that means alot of families need to get across the river mighty quick! The race for the boats is on, and I can feel the crowd crushing against my back. Looks like another year's Procession of Amun is drawing to a close and what a fine one it was!
