And I am left standing alone amongst the applause of the room, my mouth open in amazement, my hands placed upon my flushed cheeks. I turn to AzureEyes and I reach out for her and hug her, letting out a scream revealing my joy. I turn my attention then to the other winners, each of us hugging, Mari, Mutamwia, Cornellia, Voluptua and Tobius, with grace I place a kiss on each of their cheeks. Congradulations each of you. AzureEyes gently takes my arms and guides me to the edge of the stage. Once there I look into the audience, a smile beaming across my face and I take a long bow, raising my hand in the air. I then turn to AzureEyes, in a hushed voice asl a personal request of her. She looks at me an smiles a smile that can only mean one thing, YES. With that she turns to the DJ whom has now replaced the Maestro, and gives him specific instructions with which he is more than eager to carry out. I turn back to the crowd now gathered upon the stage. The stage is abuzz with energy, palpable to all in the room. I again turn to face the audience as the room begins to darken. First small disks of pink light evade the darkness, lavender, blue and yellow disks mingle with the blue. The discs begin to dance amongst the room, altering each object as they pass over them. This is a time to celebrate, for everyone to get up and dance... I signal the DJ with my hand and call out...HIT IT DJ!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's rock the house. I stand on the edge of the stage, my feet separated, my hand in my hair, another on my hip. As the beat of the song permeates the air and courses through me, I begin to move my hips forward and back, then slowly begin to move them in a circular motion. Closing my eyes, I lose myself in the pounding beat. Placing my hands on the sides of my face, I allow them to fall down my sides, and then up the fronts of my thights as my hips move to the beat. Looking out into the crowd, I raise my hands and gesture for them to get up out of their seats and DANCE! I turn and face the group of winners that are on stage with me, along with our emcee, the lovely AzureEyes, and with my hands beseech them to join me, in my celebratory dance. AzureEyes joins me, each of us, our hips unable to refrain from moving, moving them side to side. I run my hand up the side of my neck and through my hair as I move my hips towards hers, each of them meeting in a bump, we repeat this again, over and over, before dancing away, to join another of the winners.
