Welcome
Pax Inter Pares
Peace Between Equals. Caesar has crossed the Rubicon, but Civil War did not erupt. Caesar and Pompey stand together against the Republicans. In this alternative Rome, who will come out ahead? Or will anyone? You decide.

    Juba, my King,

I am sorry, lord. Our raid was ill prepared. The Romans, they are weak i ntheir province, but were ready for us this time. We went lightly armed as last time. But were repulsed, King. The governor, Verus, had recruited the locals who were left without farms from our last raid and put them into a militia. I can vouch, sire, that men with homes destroyed fight bravely. Most were horsed, though some were on foot. I fear we took very little by way of cash, sire. I await your punishment in Cirta, where I have resigned myself.

    Apologies, Lord,
    Baga

OOC: Baga takes 500Dn in loot and 1% casualties.
