It begins in the season of death
    Breath of spring blown
    Sown in every nook
    Brook churns with ruby seeds
    Reeds festooned with life
    Knife-edge of winter cannot slice
    Ice caresses
    Blessed eggs that wait sleeping
    Keeping dreams of spring within~

    Thin sunbeams come creeping
Peeping frogs, the crickets of May
Decay makes way for the green flame
    Claiming ground anew each day.
