several of us are working on a plan where: One, a situation where some foreign country that is relevant to the time period sends a envoy to the Island....we really could do a whole lot with this...we could send our own envoy back to the foreigner's land, we could hold a festival and feast for the envoy...etc.

My second idea is to have a storyline where we finally have now decided to send out a scouting party to find out what is really beyond the horizon...again, if we go with this one we can really go a number of ways...the days before the ship leaves, choosing the crew, a feast beforehand, what will they find?...etc.
