    Dravidia, I agree that if someone's going to actually do anything with their writing they of course need to let people read it... but if I keep that in mind too much when I'm writing I wind up with results that I'm not satisfied with. I've just finished writing a book, for example, which I want to try to get published because I want it to accomplish something... but I know that I wouldn't have written it nearly so well if I had thought about people reading it.

    Kallistos, of course you're right. The outside world can't be completely shut out without inspiration also being shut out.
