...I have come to the conclusion that my scribal duties in the Orient are and will continue to take up too much of my time for me to be able to continue as a group leader here. This topic is one of great interest to me, but it is not one in which I am extremely versed. Therefore, to be able to lead the group adequately, I would need research time. And I don't have that.

So, I decided that I would ask the membership if they would be interested in electing someone to take over my slot as a group leader. I think it would be in the group's best interest for me to take a step back to editor and hand the reigns over to someone with more time to devote to our group. Any takers?
