Valerius Calisus added cautiously,
"This legislation was proposed with the understanding that a strong commander is needed to unify the disparate Roman provinces currently under the command of Nerva, Catulus, and Commodus. For this reason I proposed that Aulius be given the same Imperium as was suggested for him in Asia, Imperium Miaus, the highest Imperium. Aulius has demonstrated himself to be an able commander with a keen interest in advancing Rome's interests abroad."
"HOWEVER, if Aulius has no interests in a military career in Aegypt, I am quite happy to withdraw this legislation." Calisus nods to Aulius respectfully.
