Hmm-how to sum this up?
Roderick asked me if I thought humans had an inborn sense of right and wrong, why we do evil things. I responded with a bunch of quotes and some of my own thoughts on the structure of the brain, evolution and a little bit about the possibility of breastfeeding and the development of a sensitive person. Then we headed further off track with a discussion about the r-complex and whether or not it points to reptilian origins as part of evolution...then some stuff about alien reptilians and odder theories. Then I REALLY sidetracked it all with a theory apparently best left in another group. Sigh. Are we up to date now, in a nutshell?
