Tired of the goings on after dinner, I decide to go to my rooms and take a long, hot bath. With a bottle of champagne of course, I smiled to myself.
Faustina is such a dear - she takes the time to learn each guest's name as well as our particular tastes. I had asked for a room near the lobby - and she gave me a beautifully furnished suite. The smell of oil lovingly polished into the wood wall panelling reminds me of home, the thought of which suddenly makes me remember why I am here: To get away from my loving, yet smothering parents. I am now 21 - I should be living my own life! Oh well, I am far away from them and their ways of thinking.
I slip into a large, hot bath champagme flute close by. Closing my eyes I allow myself to relax. It is SO nice to be on my own in the world! What wonderful things do I have to look forward to!
