Louise Brooks as Reylari Rameses Somehow I think that a hotel of this caliber, time, and place would have had a [steam] or Turkish/Greek ah-la oriental bath.
Of course it would most probably be segregated as to the sexes.
Perhaps it could alternating ladies and gentlemen's days. There would be a special entrance and changing room for ladies and another for gentlemen. The interesting feature would be that both entances go to the same pool, bathing blace. Some very interesting mixups, confuseions, and adventures could occur here.
Steam baths were the rage all over the continent. I am sure the Hotel Cairo would have one.
To bad, my research indicates that coctails are not officialy invented till 1923.
There might be a special area for iced beverages 'The Peacock Tail Roof Garden' perhaps'?
