    I meant that there are lots of Gothic-themed fiction books out there (and not only Gothic): good historical novels or good recreations of legends. I have dug out also "The last legion" by VM Manfredi, which takes place in 476 in Italy; though I personally haven't liked it very much, it's pretty interesting and I'll review it sooner or later.
