I say to Brigha. "Great misfortune has fallen upon your village and money has been gathered and intrusted to my safekeeping for delivery to you. You are asked to purchase a worthy sacrifice to appease your gods so that the heavens will open and the tribulation of your home village may end."
Brigha is troubled at this news. There is more to tell her, but not at this time. One should never reveal too much information at the wrong time, ere the sword be lifted against him.
The one called Andriveta is a fair one indeed and looks to be as one that can hold her own, even against her leader. It is obvious that he has feelings for that extend beyond one of a king to a counselor.
The time has come for me to begin asking the questions. I clear my throat of the bread and address those present.
"While coming to this place, I was approached to find a *young girl* who has wandered from her village. Her parents are concerned for her well being and wish that I find her and return them to her at once. She is the daughter of a wealthy chieftain and there is considerable gain for me if she is found. Have you seen her?"
