The complex way of being universal was a goal of the Hellenism.
Hellenism like what? Like the expression of the will of Alexander to live in a supraworld composed by the marriage of differences. Hard task, indeed. When he put the example and married a Persian princess his soldiers were surprised, not so inclined as their chief to quit being Macedonian and begin to be universal.
