Sieur Murchad enters the grounds on his destrier, followed by his squire Phillipe and his remaining retinue. Dressed now for combat, Sieur Murchad has changed his enameld parade armor for a serviceable suit of steel plate. Unadorned with symbols or etchings, the armor appears to be strong, yet light.
Turning and speaking to his squire, who will double as his herald, Murchad eyes his opponent across the field. A knight unknown to him, the opposite contestant looks experienced, to say the least. Murchad mounts, as Phillippe ambles to the center of the field...
