The popularity that the Spoils of Avalon thread has had in the last year has made me wonder how popular another, more historically accurate RP thread would fare here at Arturus Rex. My thought is that it would take place in a British petty kingdom of the post-Roman/pre-Saxon age, probably in what would have been Camelot (Colchester, Camelford, Caerleon, etc).
Architecturally, I would suggest that the RP take up a board, with individual threads for specific locations within the kingdom - Roman bath, church, Great Hall, etc. A good resource for historical facts and figures of the Arthurian Age can be found at David Nash Ford's Early British Kingdoms.
Or if we'd like to take a departure from Camelot, it could be set in another related setting, like Gododdin?
