    and makes a load of sense. And Feanor was extremely greedy! So there you have it.

    Another comment which is outta the blue sky: Galadriel was amongst the Noldor who left Valinor with Feanor. I know that many who don't read anything other then LOTR see her as almost goddess-like, but her reason for going was also greed. She wanted her own place to rule. When I learned this, it made the part about Galadriel's Mirror much more poignant.
