"I couldnt believe that Toman was letting me lead the way. What happened to the macho male ego?" I wondered as I slipped silently into the courtroom.

"Shhhh, be very quiet, Toman. We dont want the intruder to become aware of us. He or she might have a weapon. By the way, do you have one?" I asked Toman as my eyes got accustomed to the dark.

"I have two lethal weapons", Toman chuckled as he held up his fists.

"Get real...dont you have any REAL weapons? What will we do if the intruder has a knife or something?" I growled at Toman.

"Why dont you just holler out and ask him or her? I am sure the intruder would be polite and tell you", Toman said sarcastically as I ventured further down the hallway.

"You know...someday you are going to get what you so justly deserve", I turned to admonish Toman. Where was he? He was behind me a minute ago. I peered into the shadows in fear as I heard a twittering...a low moan.

"Toman, what are you doing on the floor? Get up...are you that frightened? What is that red stuff on your forehead?" I looked closer at him when he didnt answer me.

Someone had finally given Toman what he deserved. A good clonk on the old noggin. I only wish it had been me. *S*
