From what I have seen, once the tapes of his performance were examined, the South Korean made at least one error in his performance that was not caught at the time which would have cut his score regardless of the previously stated judging controversy and such that he would have lost to Hamm.
The award should stand as is, period.
Now, as an aside to all this, am I only one who, on watching both the men's and women's gymnastic events, has the feeling of sheer amazement on how they can not only do that stuff, much less learn how to do it, without just plain killing themselves?
