..the murder of a family. It's when things like this happen that I, like many others, ask why? I think it is always unneccesary to murder (assassinate) a country's ruler when there's a change in government. A sad thing is that when I went to Chile recently, I learned that during the coup in 1973 (backed by the United States CIA) we assassinated the President Allende (because he was considered a Socialist) and replaced him with a truly evil man, Augusto Pinochet(history shall think of him this way). They ruthlessly massacred all supporters of the former President.
Why must we be intolerant of other's opinions? If someone is a Socialist or a Communist or a Monarchist or whatever, they are not bad people, they shouldn't be murdered for their political views.
History does repeat itself, over and over again.
That's why we must learn from it and prevent such atrocities. But, unfortunately, the same thing occurs to this very day.
Please excuse me if I wandered off topic and accidentally offended you.
