    Here's a little bit of basics:

    Pronunciation:
    c: always pronounced like "ts" in rats. (never k or s)

    g: always pronounced like "g" in goat.

    h: pronounced in throat like "loch"

    j: y in you

    lj: like "ll" in the middle of million

    r: always trilled like in Spanish and Scottish


    VOWELS:

    a = as in hat but short

    e = as in bell

    i = like the 'ea' in meat

    o = 'not' but with rounded lips

    u = 'oo' in moon, but pronounced shorter
