to see his companion gone, Gunnar assessed the situation. As any good male with tell you, to properly assess a situation takes a full stomach. Since he had not eaten in awhile he made a move toward what appeared to be the kitchen. The smells weren't anything great, but there was a few empty flagons that needed filling, and fill them he did, at someone else's expense of course. Just consider it a loan on appraisal. If he liked what he drank, and found something to eat, well then, he might, the operative word here being might, just pay for the extra drink he now held in his hands.
That Monkey fellow was in the heat of it with the bar keep and good for Gunnar he was too. He couldn't help but over hear and somewhat oversee a bit a thing with a scroll and the words flower, and garden mixed in. Just then that Samurai gentleman walked in and he looked dry from his journey so he carried his flowing flagons in that direction with the intent of striking up a conversation.
