Julilla, notoriously absent during athletic events that require large expenditures of energy, has spent a leisurely afternoon aboard the Golden Phoenix having a massage, a manicure and a hairdo. She descends the gangplank when the afternoon is pretty well advanced and gawps at the high Andean peaks. A servant runs up with a large cup of pulque, and Julilla takes a large nip, splutters and begins taking a genuine interest in her surroundings.
"What are those adorable small creatures in baskets over there? Cuy you say? They look like Guinea Pigs to me, how adorable! Oh, they're raised for food, I see, ahem! Hmm, they must be like our Roman dormice then, which are scrumptious, I can tell you! And what are those ugly looking fish? Carachama you say? Ugh! But what about clothing and jewellery? Why, I hear than Inca gold is quite famous here. Now there's something I really would be interested in seeing!
