for many of us, I'm wondering if we want to put on a start date of August 1st for our book discussion. That will give people a chance to start reading (or finding the book if they don't have it). Our conversation could be such that if people don't have the specific book they can still kibbitz with their own information as we work through the major sections of our chosen book.

There have been a few books suggested more recently in this thread, do we have a consensus on the book? (I am agreeable with whatever people decide over the next few days -- in part because I won't be on line to be "disagreeable", anyway!)
