I apologize for the mass deletion of a number of my posts here. Apparently my "casual" citation at the beginning of a series of what were meant to be nothing more than informative posts that might assist in sparking some discussion on this board troubled someone in the membership so thoroughly that they went straight to the cyberdei and complained.

I never intended to pass these reposts off as my own work, so they are now deleted. I will attempt to replace them during the next few days with properly cited entries from the Oxford Classical Dictionary.
