I find that I use the terms Teutonic, Norse, Anglo-Saxon and Germanic interchangeably, though they are quite different. I will try to use the term Germanic consistently to include the rest. There are many conflicts and uncertainties about characters and stories in Germanic myths, and many later myths - with its own cast of characters - are based on older ones.

This roleplay group is open to any and all myths and legends that fall under the heading of "Germanic". It is up to the individual player which myths to follow, and hopefully they can all be accommodated in spite of their contradictions.

The time period for this group must remain vague, since we've no idea when these myths came about, or whether or not they are based on actual ancestors, later deified. I imagine the Migration Age, myself.

Outside of the storylines, I'd like players to keep this thread and the "Out of Character" thread busy with discussion and ideas.

    Wæs hæil!
