You're absolutely right, Dravidia. And so are you, Mabon, mellon nin. Natural predators help keep prey species strong by killing only the sick and weak. Hunters, however, kill any animal they come across or any animal whose head they think would look good mounted above the fireplace — often the large, healthy animals needed to keep the population strong. How moral is that? The Aral Sea was once the fourth biggest inland sea in the world. We 'killed' it without any "sense of modesty". Humans are intrinsically connected to nature and whatever we decide will obviously affect us. Clearly if we destroy nature, we destroy humans too. Environmental ethics is only a problem for humans because we have been the most destructive and avaricious of all the animals in the short time that we have existed. P.S. You're welcome, Gandalf. :))
