Personally although I do know quite a bit about ancient history, I'm finding I really don't have the time to do lots of research, so a fantasy based RP group with a nod to historical accuracy as far as time period goes is better for me. However I agree that not everyone wants that and using the Empires idea would certainly give everyone a better choice of being involved in as many RP areas as they would like to be, at whatever level.

On the AS Board I was Commander of the Kings Armies, but also did some RP on a second thread which we simply made up as we went along - it was great fun. I'd like to get back to having some fun - how about everyone else?
