Although there were many notable flaws in the storyline - (mainly the ommitted Clytaemnestra (i took offense to that=)and Cassandra). And also, some characters were murdered by people who shouldn't have killed them because the writers ommited certain other characters. Also, Achilles plays a larger role than I was used to him having, but then again, if there's a box-office hunk like Brad Pitt- how can they give him only a few lines?
My opinion is that it will probably get a few Oscars because I left thinking that it was worth the money I paid. OH, and I hadn't noticed Eric Bana before this movie, and all I can say is- I think he did an Excellent job as Hector- and he will probably get some kind of recognition for doing so.
