It is dedicated to all those members who would like to know more about this peculiar delta of many important European rivers of which so little is known.     Argentian archeologists have found the wreck of the Dutch ship Hoorn, that went lost after a fire in 1615.
    The Hoorn was part of a famous expedition of Jaques Le Maire and Willem Shouten, who in 1616 discoverd a sea-passage south of the Fire-islands (from the Atlantic to the Pacific ocean)
    THe seapassage has beencalled after Le Maire.

    Argentinië Argentijnse archeologen hebben het wrak gevonden
    van het Nederlandse schip Hoorn dat in 1615 na een brand is vergaan.
    De Hoorn maakte deel uit van de beroemde expeditie van
    Jacques Le Maire en Willem Schouten, die in januari 1616 ten zuiden van Vuurland een doorvaart ontdekte van de Atlantische naar de Stille Oceaan.
    Die doorvaart is Straat Le Maire gedoopt.
