The youngest of her family's brood of children, she was taken by the local Lore Keeper of her village after she demonstrated a penchant for detailed memory. She was five then. When she was 10 her family was wiped out by a fever. Many others in her village died as well. She was part of the ceremony helping to send the spirits off to thier next journey by reciting not just the lore her mentor taught her but each family's bloodlines and generations and their deeds. When she was 15 she herself fell ill, but pulled through. The child she was carrying though did not survive. she'd been carrying. A few times hostile roaming bands hit her village over the years but so far the Goddess has smiled on her and her teacher. He even taught her how to defend herself. The years passed her teacher got older as life dictated and too frail to carry the full weight of his station so he passed the title of Lore Keeper on to her in a ceremony when she was 18. At 19 she took part in a land fertility rite and placating of the spirits and nine months later bore twins. Soon after a raid took place, her teacher was murdered, her twins carried off. She too would have been carried off but she because she put up a fight trying to defend herself and her babies, they savaged her, leaving her for dead. The healer got to her in time saving her life but too late for little else. Two years have passed since then, leaving her a much more experienced and wiser lore keeper if a bit melancholy. The events in her life leading up to this point were only the beginning.
