    This is a map made by splicing two maps from Georges Roux's Ancient Iraq and one from the King James Version of the Hebrew-Greek Key Study Bible, Spiros Zodhiates ed. Siince none of the maps were done to the same scale, it took a good deal of effort to splice them together on the same scale. It is also a "work-in-progress", and I hope to replace the dots representing cities eventually with dots which will show the years in which they existed. You may notice that I have removed modern cities to avoid confusion and crowding of names. You will also notice that it has not only the seashore in 3000 BC, but also the path of the Euphrates River in 2000 BC:
