Most cases I see (and read) 3rd Dynasty as being Old Kingdom.

As a thought -- if we get the earlier dynasties, and pre-dynasties going and there is nothing to fill in the vacuum of Old Kingdom by then, maybe several months from now, then we revisit the idea of adding in 3rd Dynasty?

There's just a heck of a lot of stuff that is usually considered Early Dynastic and pre-Dynastic before we get over-busy with other dynasties?
