Maybe this word may be considered by some to be a stretch, as the Mongols were well known for appropriating any part of technology or culture that was in their way during their expansion.

Yesterday I worked with a few of my buddies building a modern-day ger (yurt), and I'd like to see some discussion on architecture, and perhaps appropriation of cultures (which these Mongols often did). Such a topic would have to expand beyond Gers, fascinating as they are in retrospect today!!!
