Your idea is good about adding a thread to discuss the position of women in the Mongol world . . . but I've tweaked it a bit. There is SO LITTLE historical source information about the position of Mongol women, that it seemed a good idea to change one of the existing threads - The Social World - to add the cultural position of women to discussions of the Mongol lifestyle and traditions. So let's discuss the subject here. Thanks for the suggestion!

As for where to post questions, I think this is as good a thread as any . . . if it's an historical question, or a suggestion for a new thread, that is.
