The Trisquel is the first symbolical representation among the peoples of Galicia. It is found in stones (in castrums). It's a triple spiral within a circle. Obviously, the number three is not innocent here, the three arms of the symbol have a movement, which symbolizes the continuity of life, the constant flow of the natural process, and the triple sense of physical, mental and spiritual world.
The word trisquel means "three arms" (breton celt) and is a solar symbol (we are discussing the swastika in the Indian group and this sure looks like going in the same sense)
