I see that we have some new members to our humble group - welcome all. Those of you who have not introduced yourselves here, please feel free to do so. It is good to know what kinds of interests people have in this group, and it's also just nice to hear from other people with the same enthusiasms as myself.

The Anglo-Saxon period was a momentous time in the history of the island of Britain, so let's all make this a great centre of learning and discussion about the period. Don't worry if you're not an expert in the field, we can all learn from questions and queries as well as scholarly essays, so let's make this group a little more active again!
