Ashikaga Norikatsu has sent an envoy to the Province of N. Awa, they have been empowered to debate the terms of an alliance. Ashikaga also sends a letter to Satomi Shigekado:


Greeting Lord Satomi,
For years now, we both have been at conflict with the power hungry Hojo Soun. In that time he has multiplied his strength while we sit by, allowing him to capitalize on the lesser lords of the Kanto ensuring his position. I cannot allow this anymore. I ask you now to join me in this fight, let us no longer make our own singular efforts, but let us combine our efforts and rid the world of the Hojo. I hope that this letter finds you in good health and in brave spirits. I will await your response.

Ashikaga Norikatsu

OCC: The terms given to the envoy by Norikatsu are as follows:
-The Alliance will continue as long as the Hojo are a threat to the Kanto and the respective provinces.
-Lord Satomi will begin organizing forces to assist Ashikaga in Kazusa, their objective to divide the Hojo forces.
