I come from an ancient strong clan, the Minamoto clan, that founded the warrior era of the shogunat in Kamakura. I married Tokugawa Kiyoyasu when I was quite young. We have a four year old son, Hirotada. I am 22 years old.
I practiced the Martial Arts, as well as the arts of the Brush, Tea ceremony, music and Ikebana. At this period of time many women were skilled with a long spear, or naginata, to protect their home and children from thieves and raiders. I am, however, incredibly talented with both bow and sword. I am also an amazing horsewoman. I am often chosen for dangerous scouting missions because of my great skill.
