First of all we need to decide what countries we're going to include. How big an area are we going to intend to cover?

Second, we need to decide what type of group we are going for. I'd personally like to keep it purely academic (gee I don't like that word; reminds me of school) for the time being. What do you think? ...I think those are the most pressing issues for the time being, unless you can see any others you'd like to bring up.
