K. Here it is. The series is calledThe Elenium by David Eddings. As I remember, they were pretty cool, but that was a while ago. (a loooooooonnnnnnngggg while) lol! There are three books in the series: The Diamond Throne, The Ruby Knight, The Sapphire Rose.

I have only read The Elenium, so I can't tell you what the other books are like. They are probably good though.
