In ancient history people drank from streams or what ever water source was available. There are those even today in third world countries who drink from stagnant pools and end up very sick or even dying.
Alot was said in ancient writings in references to digging ditches or wells.
Here in America there are those who own a well and prefer it over community water via water treatment systems and tap.
Some go to natural mineral springs to draw their water as well.
I've tried natural mineral spring water and it tastes quiet different from tap or even well water.
Mineral springs water tastes slightly sweet and when you dip your feet into a pool of mineral spring water your skin tingles.
I think if I could have the choice all the time...I would drink mineral water from a natural spring,; mainly because of the minerals it contains that most treated water or even wells don't always contain.
The way most Americans' dietary habits are or lack thereof, I think we could all benefit from the added minerals. Bodies become sick when depleted of vitamins and minerals. Alot more emphasis is placed on vitamins than minerals here in the US.
Trace minerals are needed as well for proper body function.
Well water would be my next choice then tap or today there is even bottled water.
There are many wells and irrigations systems now throughtout the middle east. Abraham and Isaac dug a well everytime they came to a new place. I would really like to know how many of those wells are still in existance today. Anyone know?
