*Sitting by the well for a moment to catch my breath*....It seems like two days in one. I rose early this morning with the words of Moses still ringing in my ears. "Thus sayeth the Lord...""I will bring one more plaque on Pharaoh and on Egypt. Afterward he will let you go, he will surely drive you out of here altogether." "Speak now in the hearing of the people, and let every man ask from his neighbor and every woman from her neighbor, aritcles of silver and articles of gold." Exodus 11;1-2
It had been a long day already and for all the work I had already done there was still that much more to do this day. *sighs pausing to make mental note of what had been done and what was still to do*
I rose early this day and swept the entire house and searched for any leaven that might still be in the house. Finding none left and satisfied that task had been accomplished, I went down to the river, with some of the other women, to do the washing. After this I gathered fresh black cummin and other spices for the evening meal.
I gathered up any stray articles of clothing still lying around and packed them in haste as I felt led to do. Thus here I sit by the well. *thinking to myself* "I will gather this water and go back to help prepare the evening meal of roast lamb...oh after I gather more fire wood." "I must hurry much still to do!!!"
