Hello everyone. I was just working on a chapter in my thesis, and I thought of something that I wanted to ask here. Does anyone think that Edward the Elder does not get his proper share of attention? It seems like he is overshaodowed by the legacy of his father Alfred, and then almost forgotten due to the glory won by his son Athelstan. Edward was the once who united all Angles and Saxons south of the Humber river, something never done before.
