Neima and Addedomarus try to settle me when I come to, but I refuse. I am well aware there are others who need their attention more and I must find Her. I rise, shaking them off, I know my body, it is not that hurt. I will be fine and assure them of that fact. "Go tend to those who need you. I will be well. My eyes scan restlessly for My Queen.

Finally I a rewarded by a flash of Gold from the near by trees. Setting off at an easy lope, I catch up with her. Without a word, I lift her up and carry her back to the wagons. She does not seem to appreciate my thoughtfulness and starts banging me in the head. It is a rather uncomfortable sensation owing to the large lump I seem to have acquired.

"Put me down! Those are my men and by Cernunos I WILL care for them!" Her face is flushed and her eyes sparkle like twin gems.

"Are you all right?" I ask her, to no avail. "Are you hurt any where?" She continues to scream imprecations at me until I am finally goaded into roaring back at her, "Miranda! BE QUIET!"

Strange, there seems to be complete silence now where all was noise and activity. My Queen seems stunned as well. "You are our queen, it is vital to all of the peoples of the Catuvellauni that you are unhurt. You are our queen, your people are lost if you are lost. You are our queen, there are others to tend the wounded. You are our queen, be our queen, our guide, our guardian, but be still and let the healers check you!"

My heart was in the toe of my boots and my teeth had an unwonted tendency to grind together harshly. I was in great fear the blood that covered her was her own and until that fear was calmed she would not leave my arms save to go to the healers.

There were others I needed to find to help but She must be my first concern.
